The Symposium on Artificial Intelligence in Learning Health Systems (SAIL) will host its fifth in-person conference May 5-8, 2026, in Río Grande, Puerto Rico at the Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve.
Because the meeting is capped at 150 participants (including speakers, poster presenters and organizers), participation is typically limited to only those with accepted abstracts. The best way to have the opportunity to attend in future years is to submit an abstract during the open Call for Abstracts (Nov–Jan annually).

- January 16, 2026 — Abstract and Travel Award Submission Deadline
- February 27, 2026 — Abstract Acceptance and Travel Award Notifications
- March 2026 — Registration Opens
- May 5-8, 2026 — Annual Symposium
Registration
Space at SAIL is limited to 150 participants, including speakers and organizers. Priority for registration will be given to individuals with accepted abstracts. Registration will open in March. Registration fees are as follows and include all meals throughout the duration of the symposium:
