SAIL 2023

The Symposium on Artificial Intelligence in Learning Health Systems (SAIL) returned for its second in-person conference May 9-12, 2023, in Río Grande, Puerto Rico!

We convened at the Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve in Puerto Rico to continue our ongoing discussion focused on emerging themes of AI being deployed in real-world healthcare settings. The conference program encompassed a diverse range of expert panels, invited talks, poster sessions and networking opportunities with some of the world’s leading experts in health AI. Some areas of focus this year included:

  • Surgical applications of AI
  • AI in clinical trials
  • Real-world lessons learned from deploying AI in the clinic
  • Large language models in healthcare

Each year, SAIL brings together clinicians, researchers and members of the tech industry from around the world to join in productive and lively conversations meant to shape the future of AI in health and improve clinical outcomes.

We will continue the discussion May 7–10, 2024 at the same venue!
