Emily Alsentzer

Emily Alsentzer is a postdoctoral fellow at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Emily’s research interests broadly include developing deployable machine learning and natural language processing methods for healthcare, especially in settings with limited annotated data. Her work has recently focused on developing few-shot methods for diagnosing patients with rare genetic conditions. Emily received her PhD from the Harvard-MIT Health Science and Technology program.
