Dr. Wong is a Clinical Instructor of Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan and Research Fellow in the National Clinician Scholars Program. His research focuses on the governance and prospective validation of clinical AI systems to demonstrate real-world efficacy for patients and providers. He was a recipient of the national Felicia Hill-Briggs GIM Research Award, and his research has been cited in the White House Blueprint for an AI Bill of Rights. He currently serves on the Michigan Medicine Clinical Intelligence Committee, the University of Michigan Task Force for Generative AI in Research, and the IHPI committee for AI in Health Policy.
