Suchi Saria
Dr. Suchi Saria, PhD, is the John C. Malone Endowed Chair and Director of the Machine Learning, AI, and Healthcare Lab at Johns Hopkins, and Founder/CEO of Bayesian Health. Her groundbreaking work leverages AI and statistical machine learning to develop individualized diagnostic and treatment tools. Supported by agencies like NIH, NSF, DARPA, FDA, and CDC, Dr. Saria has delivered over 300 invited talks and advised federal agencies and Fortune 500 companies.
Her research has been highlighted by The Atlantic, Smithsonian Magazine, Bloomberg News, Wall Street Journal, and PBS NOVA. Among her numerous accolades are IEEE’s “AI’s 10 to Watch,” DARPA’s Rising Star Award, WEF’s “100 Brilliant Minds Under 40,” and Time’s Best Inventions of 2023. She co-founded CHAI, serves on the Journal of Machine Learning Research editorial board, and contributes to the NAM AI Code of Conduct.
