Robert Korom

Dr. Robert Korom is the Chief Medical Officer of Penda Health, in Nairobi, Kenya–a network of ultra-low-cost primary care clinics.  Rob leads Penda’s clinician-facing AI work, including the development and implementation of one of the world’s first LLM-based CDS systems in primary care.  Rob and his team also heavily leverage LLMs for patient-facing tools over WhatsApp, allowing patients to navigate care and access components of their health record in simple ways.  Rob lives with his wife and three kids in Nairobi.
