Ashley Beecy

Dr. Ashley Beecy is Chief AI Officer at Sutter Health, where she is building and leading a growing AI team dedicated to developing and deploying trusted AI solutions that improve care, streamline workflows, and create more seamless experiences across the care journey. She oversees AI governance and strategy execution, working closely with clinical, digital, and operational leaders to advance high impact use cases in support of Sutter’s mission and vision.

Dr. Beecy joins from NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, where she served as Medical Director of AI Operations, leading cross-functional teams and enterprise efforts in AI strategy, governance, and implementation. She was also practicing clinical faculty at Weill Cornell Medicine. Prior to a career in healthcare, she spent a decade working in technology and finance. She holds a degree in Computer Systems Engineering and is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular medicine, and clinical informatics.
